24-hour hop-on hop-off open top bus tour
Will take you around Windsor, the historic market town just outside of London. It houses many interesting buildings including the famous Windsor Castle. The castle was built by William the Conqueror in 1070, when a timber motte and bailey castle were first constructed. The modern day castle hosted the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Megan Markle in May 2018.

You will learn about Windsor’s historic past, as you drive around its cobbled streets taking in the sites of the Theatre Royal, Holy Trinity Church and the Windsor farm shop. You can hop-on or hop-off at any of the 11 stops on the route to explore more. The route also takes you past Eton College, said to be the most famous school in the world, where Prince’s William and Harry were both educated.

Windsor is a short train journey away from central London, taking you right into the heart of the town. It’s easy to see why it is so popular

Private Guided Tour of Windsor Castle
The largest and oldest occupied castle in the world, is the home of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The Castle's dramatic site encapsulates 900 years of British history and its magnificent State Rooms and works of art reflect the tastes of successive kings and queens. In 1992 a devastating fire destroyed or damaged more than 100 rooms at the Castle. The highly acclaimed restoration work, completed in 1997, is a testament to the skills of some of the finest craftsmen in Europe.

HM The Queen and her family spend most of their private weekends at Windsor Castle. The Queen is also officially in residence throughout April and June, when the annual Garter Service is held in St George's Chapel.

For an experience groups won't forget, take a private tour of the State Apartments at Windsor Castle with an expert guide.

Your group's behind-the-ropes tour will take you on a journey through 1,000 years of royal history, when the Castle is closed to the public for the day. You will discover how William the Conqueror’s wooden castle was rebuilt by Edward III as a stone fortress with magnificent apartments, how Charles II set out to rival the Versailles of his cousin Louis XIV, while George IV filled the rooms with outstanding works of art and gave the Castle its famous skyline. You will also hear how the State Apartments are used today by The Queen on State and ceremonial occasions.

The State Apartments, the heart of the working palace, are regularly used for ceremonial and official occasions. They are furnished with some of the finest works of art from the Royal Collection, including paintings by Rembrandt, Rubens and Van Dyck. During the winter months the Semi-State Rooms, among the most richly decorated interiors in the Castle are added to the visitor route.
